Project Overview

Substations house a wide variety of equipment, and during routine operation, maintenance, and repairs, there is significant pressure to ensure the safe operation and management of personnel. 

If workers intentionally or unintentionally approach live areas within the safety distance, it poses a high safety risk.

The Locaris High-Precision Positioning System, which integrates with outdoor BeiDou satellite positioning, is capable of providing high-precision location data both indoors and outdoors within substations.

At the same time, the terminal tags are lightweight and wearable, making them easy for workers to carry and use.

When personnel are working inside a substation, the terminal devices transmit high-precision location data in real time to the system platform.

 If a person is located outside a safe zone, the system platform sends an alert command to the terminal.

The terminal responds to the command by issuing an alert to remind the worker to immediately leave the unsafe area.

Furthermore, the terminal devices can monitor the workers’ vital signs in real time, further ensuring their safety.
