Project Overview
Jiangsu Xutang Power Generation Co., Ltd. was established in 1972 and is located at the intersection of the Eurasian Land Bridge and the Grand Canal. On July 28, 2000, construction began on two 300-megawatt coal-fired units. This project was a key initiative in Jiangsu’s power development during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period and was also designated as a technical renovation project aimed at optimizing the structure of thermal power generation by replacing smaller-capacity units with larger, high-parameter, low-energy-consumption units.

Solution
The personnel and equipment tracking system for coal yards must meet the high-precision positioning requirements for personnel, equipment, and materials in industrial settings, covering both indoor and outdoor areas such as access roads, card issuance zones, sampling areas, weighing stations, enclosed coal yards, and surrounding roads.
The system provides centimeter-level positioning accuracy and supports features such as collision prevention alerts, emergency distress calls, historical data and operational time queries, and violation alerts. It also integrates with video surveillance systems to provide a more intuitive and realistic view of on-site operations. Additionally, the coal yard machinery and personnel positioning system can be integrated with the “Three Major Projects” fuel system platform by providing or developing the necessary interfaces.
