Pumped-storage power plants are often referred to as the “crown jewel” of hydropower. 

They are a specialized type of hydropower plant characterized by flexible operation and rapid response capabilities.

Locaris‘s U-Loc indoor centimeter-level real-time positioning system combines wired communication technology with IoT technology. 

Employing a hybrid 1D/2D positioning model and deploying a specific number of positioning base stations within the coverage area, it enables real-time, precise personnel tracking.

At the same time, Locaris’s proprietary personnel location management system has been integrated into the “Five Systems and One Center” infrastructure at the Yixing Pumped-Storage Power Station: the personnel location management system, the video surveillance and emergency broadcast communication system, the safety and environmental monitoring system, the hydraulic safety early warning system, the fall protection system, and the emergency command (safety monitoring) center, thereby forming a comprehensive security management platform.
